First in a series of IP-65 protected instruments, Fowler's New Ultra-Cal IV Caliper is immune to coolant spray, moisture and oils common in workshop environments.

The Fowler Ultra-Cal Mark IV uses the newly patented Sylvac Inductive Measuring System which expands on the old capacitive system by providing moisture immunity and increased functionality. Old systems would typically have to dry out if they were exposed to coolants or other shop hazards, but the new system can take spray and exposure due to it's IP-65 Rating . This eliminates costly downtime and increases measuring productivity.
